Planmeca Group’s subsidiary Plandent AB to deliver the largest dental
digitalisation project in the Nordic countriesPlandent AB, part of the
Finnish Planmeca Group, has signed a contract for the supply of
digital intraoral imaging equipment to all municipal dental clinics in
Västra Götaland County in Sweden. The delivery agreement is the
largest digitalisation project to date within the field of dentistry
in the Nordic countries: during the project, the old film-based
imaging equipment at the county’s dental clinics will be replaced with
the new state-of-the-art digital imaging equipment.

delivery agreement for Planmeca with the University of MarylandThe
Finnish dental equipment manufacturer Planmeca Oy signed second
delivery agreement with the University of Maryland in Baltimore, USA.
The agreement includes delivery and installation of 27 Planmeca

Planmeca to deliver dental units to Prince Philip Dental Hospital in
Hong KongThe Finnish dental equipment manufacturer Planmeca Oy has
signed fourth delivery agreement with Prince Philip Dental Hospital in
Hong Kong. The new dental units included in the delivery will replace
the previous dental equipment at the hospital’s paediatric department.

Planmeca Sovereign Classy dental unit increases dental practice
efficiencyPlanmeca’s new dental unit, Planmeca Sovereign Classy, is to
be unveiled at the International Dental Show (IDS) 2009 in Cologne
Germany. Planmeca Sovereign Classy is the latest addition to
Planmeca’s selection of fully symmetrical dental units; the angle of
the cuspidor and the patient chair can be chosen prior to installation
enabling both right-handed and left-handed operation. The unit
functions and settings are easily controlled using a multipurpose
graphical user interface and a foot control with intuitive functions.
